Reading & Phonics with Manners ™
Our Reading & Phonics with Manners is an English enrichment program like no other. It not only boosts your child’s skills in reading and literacy through phonics but it also prepares your child for success in moral education and social situations. This is due to our strong emphasis on moral and etiquette education through reading and phonics. Our young participants will experience a noticeable change in their spoken English, increasetheir interest in reading and pay closer attention in school. The strong foundation that they build in both their diction and social etiquette will ultimately allow them to go on to achieve greater success in their education, career and lives.
Objectives & Methodology
Our Reading & Phonics with Manners ™ enrichment program is designed for children aged between three and eight years old. Planned such that children learn etiquette and moral education through phonics and reading, this program is fun, creative, interactive and memorable and includes videos, music, quizzes, games and more. Research proves that early exposure to music helps children recall, reason, create, and express themselves better. This is why our program includes music to aid retention and to make learning fun for the little ones. Interactive and fun-filled learning material, posters and activity cards further enable your child to understand the proper pronunciation of letters and blending syllables, giving her confidence and a strong foundation in the English language.
The curriculum used is a unique, phonics-based approach to teaching reading, writing and spelling to 3-8 year olds. The characters used transform plain black letter shapes into child-friendly pictograms and they all live in an imaginary land. Simple stories about the characters, explain the full range of the basic phonics facts so that children are motivated to listen, to think and to learn. These stories explain letter sounds & shapes, allowing children to progress quickly to word building, reading and writing.
